| If all the Media prophets are correct, all
commerce will come to a halt in the
year
2000. So imagine this..... Just like the cast of MAD MAX bands of traveling nomads will roam the remanants of civilization. The only currency exchange will be by "barter". Trading goods for goods or in this case...talent for goods. No longer will conglomerates control the traveling vagabond. Neither will the artist be slaved to selling "milions" to profit "hundreds". Town to town generators are run on solar panels to create energy for outdoor music and dance. the arts for some is the only reminder of musics higher reason for existence. Now, I don't believe it will come to this (at least not yet), but the premise gets you thinking about whats important. "what good is art if you can't share it anywhere anytime for anyone?" And, "Why is it that Artists provide the stuff that lawyers and accountants feed their families, yet the artist can't even feed himself? It's because of this "Culture" of commerce and greed. Lets define a new culture. Right here..............right now. |
